  1. By booking any services at Amaze you indicate that you accept the Terms.<\/li>\n
  2. If you do not accept the Terms, you cannot use the services of Amaze.<\/li>\n
  3. The person making a booking accepts the General Terms and Conditions on behalf of the entire group that will join him\/her at Amaze, thus the Terms apply for every member of the group who use the services of Amaze.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

    <\/i><\/i><\/span>Definitions<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

    1. \u201cClient\u201d: any person or entity who enters the Amaze website and books our services.<\/li>\n
    2. \u201cYou\u201d; \u201cYour\u201d; \u201cParticipant\u201d means the client.<\/li>\n
    3. \u201cWe\u201d; \u201cUs\u201d; \u201cOur\u201d: as used in the present Terms and Conditions \u201cwe\u201d, \u201cus\u201d, \u201cour\u201d, Amaze or Amaze Escape Events denotes Amaze Escape Evens V.O.F and amazevr.nl <\/a><\/strong>and\u00a0amaze-escape.com<\/strong><\/a>; Amaze office denotes our registered offices at Binckhorstlaan 135, 2516 BA, Den Haag.<\/li>\n
    4. \u201cParties\u201d: the client and Amaze are collectively referred to as the \u201cparties\u201d<\/li>\n
    5. \u201cService\u201d; \u201cServices\u201d: any and all services offered by us on the amazevr.nl <\/a><\/strong>website and at our physical location at the Amaze office.<\/li>\n
    6. \u201cGame\u201d: refers to the live escape games owned and operated by Amaze.<\/li>\n
    7. \u201cAgreement\u201d; \u201cTerms\u201d: refer to the present Terms and Conditions.<\/li>\n
    8. For the purposes of the Terms and Conditions, we shall use Amaze Escape Events V.O.F. to refer to both Amaze Escape Events V.O.F and \u00a0amazevr.nl <\/a><\/strong>and any and all domains owned by Amaze.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

      <\/i><\/i><\/span>Revision of Terms<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

      1. Amaze may revise the Terms at any time by updating this document.<\/li>\n
      2. All modified Terms and Conditions shall take effect immediately after having been posted on the Amaze booking surface.<\/li>\n
      3. You acknowledge and agree that Amaze has the sole discretion to set forth and post additional terms and conditions for your use of the services. You agree that those additional\u00a0terms and conditions shall be considered an effective amendment to these Terms and said Terms and Conditions shall be incorporated herein. Furthermore, you expressly agree that if there is any conflict between those additional terms and conditions and the present Terms set forth herein shall take primacy.<\/li>\n
      4. Any rights not expressly granted in the present Terms are reserved.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

        <\/i><\/i><\/span>Product Information and Warranties \u2013 Changes in the service<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

        1. The service will be provided with care and due diligence, in a professional manner and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. Amaze has made a conscientious effort to display and describe its services on the website accurately. Amaze is constantly improving its information, products and services. Consequently, Amaze cannot and does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information, including prices, specifications, availability and services.<\/li>\n
        2. You acknowledge and agree that the form and nature of the services, which Amaze provides may change without prior notice to you.<\/li>\n
        3. Amaze reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service with or without notice to you or other clients.<\/li>\n
        4. Amaze shall not be liable to clients or any third party should Amaze exercise its right to modify or discontinue the service<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

          <\/i><\/i><\/span>The Services<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

            \n
          1. Amaze Escape Events V.O.F is a creative company that provides an interactive entertainment service meaning that the clients are active participants of the service.<\/li>\n
          2. Amaze provides the following services:\n
              \n
            1. Organizes virtual reality room escape rooms<\/li>\n
            2. Organizes quiz games<\/li>\n
            3. Offers events spaces<\/li>\n
            4. Provides catering at its location through 3rd<\/sup>party catering companies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
            5. Virtual reality room escape rooms: The active service takes 44 minutes, in which the participants are in a room and wear a VR headsets, backpack pcs, headphones and controllers and are supposed to solve puzzles and complete a mission within the set time. VR Escape Games are ideal for teambuilding events as excellent teamwork, good communication, coordination and creative thinking are necessary to master the game and complete the mission in time. \u00a0The entire game\u00a0is monitored, thus\u00a0it can\u00a0be stopped\u00a0at any time if\u00a0the participants require this. Other than monitoring the game from the outside, there is no other involvement and the participants are only with their own team-members in the room. \u00a0Clients agree to participate in the services offered by Amaze on their own responsibility and release Amaze, its employees and any party acting on behalf of Amaze of any liability as detailed in the section:\u00a0Limitation of Liability.<\/li>\n
            6. Quiz: Amaze also provides a quiz game if requested by the clients. The quiz game involves 1 Quizmaster, 6 exciting topics and 24 brain-teasing questions. The activity takes approximately 60 minutes.<\/li>\n
            7. Event Spaces: Amaze can provide event spaces if the client requires a location for an additional activity (team-meeting, workshop, etc).<\/li>\n
            8. Catering: Amaze can arrange a wide range of catering through it\u2019s catering partners at the Amaze offices or at the locations of the catering partners.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

              <\/i><\/i><\/span>Prices<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
              \n

              1. The prices displayed on the Amaze website, and\/or sent by Amaze or its agents in official offers are gross prices including the applicable VAT.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

                <\/i><\/i><\/span>Delays<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

                @e work with fixed starting times.<\/span><\/span> If the group is more than 15 minutes late, we can no longer guarantee the appointment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

                If there is sufficient availability on the day, and the group wishes to keep the appointment, we will charge 25 EUR for every 30 minutes of delay<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

                <\/i><\/i><\/span>Cancellation Policy Private Groups<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

                Cancellations and changes to a reservation can only be made using the booking reference provided to the customer upon completing the booking.<\/p>\n

                Cancellation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

                Cancellation of a booking is free of charge if done up to 96 hours before the scheduled activity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                For cancellations made within 96 to 24 hours before the activity<\/strong>, the customer is liable for 40% of the total booking value<\/strong> as a cancellation fee.<\/p>\n

                For cancellations made within 24 hours before the activity<\/strong>, the customer is liable for 100% of the total booking value<\/strong>, and no refund will be issued.<\/p>\n

                After the activity has started or after it has ended, the booking can no longer be canceled and no refund<\/strong> will be provided.<\/p>\n

                In the case of a no-show<\/strong> (customer does not appear without notification), the customer is liable for 100% of the booking value<\/strong>, and no refund will be provided.<\/p>\n

                \n

                Changes<\/strong><\/h3>\n

                Changes to a booking can be made free of charge up to 96 hours before the scheduled activity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                Within the period of 96 to 24 hours before the activity<\/strong>, the reservation can be modified with a charge of 40% of the total booking value<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                Within 24 hours before the activity<\/strong>, no changes can be made.<\/p>\n

                \n

                Communication<\/strong><\/h3>\n

                Cancellations and changes within 96 hours before the activity must be communicated via What’s App<\/a> or via the contact form<\/a><\/strong>, so that Amaze VR can review the request.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

                <\/i><\/i><\/span>Cancellation Policy Corporate Groups and Large Teams<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

                For weekday bookings (Mon – Fri):<\/div>\n
                  \n
                1. The appointment for groups can be canceled<\/strong> free of charge up to 14 days before the start.<\/li>\n
                2. Between 14 and 7 days before the start, 50% of the agreed total amount in the offer will be charged in case of cancellation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                3. Shorter than 7 days before the start, 100% of the agreed total amount will be charged in case of cancellation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                4. Changes<\/strong> may be submitted up to 7 days before start of the event. Thereafter the last confirmed offer will be charged.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                  <\/div>\n
                  For weekends (Sat, Sun):<\/div>\n
                    \n
                  1. For reservations during the weekend, you must pay in advance<\/li>\n
                  2. Up to 14 days before the start, 15% of the paid total amount will be charged for groups in the event of cancellation.<\/li>\n
                  3. The appointment for groups can be changed or moved up to 14 days before the start. Date change for the first time is free of charge, for all subsequent adjustments we charge 15 EUR administration costs.<\/li>\n
                  4. Between 14 and 7 days before the start, 50% of the paid total amount will be charged for groups in the event of cancellation.<\/li>\n
                  5. Changes<\/strong> may be submitted up to 7 days before start of the event. Thereafter the last confirmed offer will be charged.<\/li>\n

                    <\/i><\/i><\/span>Payment<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

                    1. Payment is possible:\n

                      1. Online payment with IDeal is possible when reservering a VR Escape Room<\/li>\n
                      2. Bank Card (Maestro, Visa Electron, MASTERCARD, VISA) on location for purchases on the location (extra services, drinks)<\/li>\n
                      3. Payment on account is possible for corporate clients who have a confirmed offer.\n
                          \n
                        1. When paying on account Amaze adds 10 EUR administration costs to the bill<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

                          <\/i><\/i><\/span>Limitation of Liability of Amaze<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

                          1. As Amaze is not directly involved in the game while the participants are in the rooms, clients participate in the services offered by Amaze on their own responsibility.<\/li>\n
                          2. Amaze has no direct control and shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, personal injuries or property loss arising from or in any way connected to participating in or using the services and\/or facilities of Amaze.<\/li>\n
                          3. You release Amaze, its employees or any person acting on behalf of Amaze from all claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of any kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with the abovementioned. This further includes reasonable attorneys\u2019 fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your negligence, breach of these Terms, or violation of any law or the rights of a third party.<\/li>\n
                          4. The client does hereby further agree to abide by all the conditions, instructions and rules that are presented by Amaze or its agents.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

                            <\/i><\/i><\/span>Liability of Customers<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

                            1. Customers and Participants are jointly and severally liable for damage resulting from loss, theft, or damage to the property or property of (staff of) Amaze and third parties, as well as to any injuries caused to employees of Amaze and third parties, irrespective of whether the damage or injury is the result of any act or omission on the part of the Purchaser itself, or Participants who were in the Amaze Building with the permission of Customer.<\/li>\n
                            2. With regard to the materials to be used by the Customer and Participants during play, the following amounts must be compensated in the event of loss, theft or damage to the material concerned:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

                              <\/i><\/i><\/span>Belongings and clothing of Customers<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

                              1. Lost property must be delivered to the staff of Amaze.<\/li>\n
                              2. Amaze is not liable for the loss of clothing and\/or other property belonging to a Customer or Participant. Garments and\/or properties that have been left behind by the Participants will be kept for a period of two months. After that period, these items will be thrown away.\n

                                <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

                                <\/i><\/i><\/span>Complaint Management and Problem Resolution<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

                                1. Amaze is dedicated to effective and prompt complaint management, problem resolution and the analysis and mitigation of the root causes of complaints. A complaint or a dispute between you and Amaze has to be expressed by sending an e-mail to\u00a0info@amazevr.nl.\u00a0<\/strong>Amaze is committed to provide an answer in 30 calendar days. Amaze will attempt to resolve any disputes you have with us, operators.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

                                  <\/i><\/i><\/span>Copyright, Protection of Intellectual Property Content<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

                                  1. You are permitted to view, print and download extracts from Amaze website for your own use on the basis that:\n
                                      \n
                                    1. No documents or related graphics on the website are modified in any way;<\/li>\n
                                    2. No graphics on the website are used separately from the corresponding text; and<\/li>\n
                                    3. Our copyright notices and this permission notice appear in all copies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                                    4. You are not permitted to copy or reproduce any of the escape game elements, names and\/or designs of Amaze.<\/li>\n
                                    5. Unless otherwise provided, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on the website (including, but without being limited to, photographs and graphical images) and all material presented at the Amaze physical location are owned by Amaze.<\/li>\n

Save as agreed otherwise, any use of extracts from the website or the Amaze escape games other than in accordance with point 1 of the\u00a0Copyright, Protection of Intellectual Property\u00a0Content section. is prohibited, and in case you breach point 1 of the\u00a0Copyright, Protection of Intellectual Property\u00a0Content section, your permission to use the website or any services of Amaze automatically terminates and you are obliged to immediately destroy any downloaded or printed extracts from the website or the Amaze escape games. Subject to point 1 of the\u00a0Copyright, Protection of Intellectual Property\u00a0Content section, no part of the website or the Amaze escape games may be reproduced or stored on any other website or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or service without our prior written permission<\/li>\n

The Amaze intellectual property rights cover (without limitation) all copyrights, moral rights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets and design rights and any other intellectual property rights, whether registered or unregistered.<\/li>\n

The compilation (meaning the collection, arrangement, and assembly) of all content on this website is the exclusive property of Amaze and is protected by international copyright laws.
