Yes, we can host birthday parties. Contact us and we can arrange the best solution for you to have the best birthday party!
At Amaze VR you will find a bar with soft drinks, beers, a selection of cocktails and some snacks. If you are sure that you are going to eat/drink, we suggest booking one of the borrel packages that we have.
To enter in the hall/bar area there is a little step. From this area you can access the bathrooms. Unfortunately the gaming areas are not wheelchair accessible. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have special needs.
We have wireless VR Headsets for our free-roam VR Arenas which allow you to walk around the whole room, the gaming area is 50 squaremeters and its used mostly for cooperative and competitive VR Games.
Yes, we have gift cards. You can decide the amount you want. On the gift cards there will be a code which corresponds to the exact amount you indicated.
You can pick it up at our location or we can send it to you by post.

- Amaze VR is located in Torenstraat 140, Den Haag.
By bike/walking : When you arrive at Grote Markt on Grote marktstraat, you can make a turn at the intersection and you will already be on Torenstraat. You can find us after a 200m walk, in front of Florentia bar.
By car: Easiest is to type in Q-Park Torengarage, where you can park your car and walk from there.
By public transport: Tram 17 stops in front of the location at tram stop Torenstraat.
Wireless: Pico 4 Ultra’s
It is a multiplayer game which is playable by 2 up to 14 players. Each player wears VR-Glasses and two controllers. Together you are trying to solve the puzzles and complete the mission.
When the day of the escape game finally arrives – please arrive at the time of your booking. The VR Escape time is 60 minutes; however, there will be a short instruction session beforehand.
During the entire game you can move freely on an area of approximately 50 square meters. You can walk, bend or turn. B
In computer games, confusion may occur. Some of the players suffer from dizziness or nausea, the so-called “Motion Sickness.” We used a great deal of effort to eliminate all known sources of confusion, so the likelihood that Motion Sickness occurs is rather low e.g. suffering from severe travel sickness, please be aware that there may be some discomfort.
Our VR hosts explain everything and guide the VR experience. It is no problem at all if you try virtual reality experiences for the first time.
During the VR-Adventure you are accompanied by an experienced game master. That is why you have a contact person around you all the time. At the beginning you receive a short introduction and tutorial for our virtual area and VR equipment.
Players from 8 years old can play, we do ask that an adult is present in our lounge. From 16 years old guest can play without any supervision.
We would, however, like to draw your attention to the following:
– Because of the height difference between a child and the parent in the same room, it is more likely that they are going to crash into each other, what can injure the child and damage the equipment as well.
– Communication between the operator and children can be less effective. Based on our experience, children cannot always tell the operator what they see and experience exactly. This can make it difficult to find the best settings for the game.
– By booking, you agree to our Terms of Use.
2 to 14 people can play at the same time. From 7 people you can play in 2 teams.
Our game master is there to help you and give you hints. All puzzles are solvable and have had their feasibility proven. Nonetheless our puzzles are challenging. If you don’t solve the puzzles in time, we will show you why you failed the mission if desired.
Wear what you like. Most games require light physical activity. For that reason, we wouldn’t recommend wearing high heels, as it will make you less agile and its easier to lose balance.
If you are wearing glasses, you can keep them on, as long as they fit under the VR glasses. This is the case with most glass frames without drop shaped glasses. Alternatively contact lenses are recommended. People with light visual impairment do not need their own glasses.
Pinned-up hairstyles are not recommended since it can cause the VR headset to not properly fit.
If you’d like to come with a larger group, please let us know via e-mail or telephone and we can book multiple time-slots and customize them to your preferences. We are flexible and we can certainly customize the event to make the most of your team building, birthday, anniversary or get-together.
Cancellation and changes can be done using the booking reference you receive right after making your booking.
Cancellation: You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 4 days (96 hours) before the appointment. If you cancel within 4 days of the appointment, we charge 40% of the booking amount as a reservation fee.
Changes: You can make changes to your booking free of charge up to 4 days (96 hours) before the appointment.

Most of the clues and riddles are not language based, so you won’t have to worry if your Dutch or English is not perfect. You and your friends and colleagues will just have to understand each other, as the most important communication takes place between the team members.
